Overview

Londonskaya - 4 stars hotel with the facade in the spirit of the early Italian Renaissance is the pearl of Prymorskiy Blvd. Designed by architect Y.M. Dmytrenko, the hotel was built at the end of the 19th century on the site of the old London Hotel. Located in the historical center of the city, only steps away from the famous Potyomkin steps and within easy walking distance to the Opera and Ballet Theatre, the Marine, Literature, Archeological Museums, just minutes away from the sea terminal and from other area attractions.
Many famous people stayed in the new Odessa hotel, including the Russian writers A. Kuprin and Anton Chekhov, V. Mayakovskiy and V. Katayev, the French writers Else Triolet and Louis Aragon, the English writers Irwin Stone and Robert Lewis Stevenson, the world-renowned film director Sergei Eisenstein (Battleship Potemkin), the talented American dancer Isidore Duncan and many others. In 2001 a museum dedicated to these prominent people was opened in the hotel.

The large luxurious dining hall of the Hotel Londonskaya seats up to 200 guests. The rich ornamentation on the ceilings, four huge crystal chandeliers, mounted crystal sconce lamps, decorative columns by each booth and the walls create a unique, harmonious and festive interior. Besides daily servicing of guests, this hall is quite popular for hosting special events, official meetings, conferences, presentations and other ceremonious occasions.
